Hilco is pleased to offer, on behalf of our client, the opportunity to acquire a global, award winning and leading innovator and developer of media-based attractions.

The Opportunity

  • The Company is headquartered in the UK, operating from a dedicated high-technology design, manufacturing and engineering facility, with 28 employees.
  • The Company designs, manufactures and installs media based and motion simulation attractions, with a product range of 15 scalable attractions which includes 3D and 4D effects cinemas, dynamic motion simulation attractions, flying theatres, trackless and automated dark ride vehicles as well as immersive tunnels.
  • It operates as a comprehensive supplier, providing concept design, engineering, in-house manufacturing, film content, installation and long-term technical support.
  • The Company operates globally, with a current 140+ attractions developed and installed to date.

Key Points

  • The Company’s primary customers include global theme parks, museums, zoos, aquariums, family entertainment centres and corporate or educational venues. This includes several globally recognised, household-name theme park operators, resulting in a material and recurring revenue stream.
  • It benefits from strong intellectual property rights and know-how around its design, creativity and manufacturing processes and is a leading developer of new to market and innovative concepts.
  • It is also progressing an innovative new project, having secured exclusive manufacturing rights for a product intended for installation within sports stadiums and event arenas. While still in development, the initiative has the potential to generate significant incremental revenues upon rollout.
  • The Company currently has a strong contractual & international orderbook of £24.5m. This is largely based on new contract wins of £26m in the last eight months, across 6 projects. This includes a £17m project in the Middle East, which is due for completion in 2028. These opportunities are forecast to deliver revenue of £15m in 2026 and £20m+ across 2027 and 2028 and reflects the strong future prospects of the business.

  • Additionally, it has a pipeline of 57 projects totalling £150m of potential revenue, a number of which are at an advanced stage.

Sale Process and Further Information

  • Interested parties will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), and which upon receipt of a signed, copy, will be invited to a virtual data room and a management meeting.
