The Gentlemen Baristas – Project Cappuccino

Hilco Valuation Services were engaged to market the business and assets of The Gentlemen Baristas, an established London roastery and coffee house brand, on behalf of its administrator. The company operated a chain of eight coffee shops across Central London and a state of the art roastery and barista training facility in Stratford with a total turnover of c.£5m. In addition to supplying the Company’s coffee houses and online retail sales platform, the roastery provided wholesale distribution supplying cafes, hotels and restaurants with the Company’s branded coffee beans.

Assets which were for sale included:

Hilco initially undertook a valuation of the Company’s assets followed by a marketing campaign of the business which generated a significant level of interest with over 100 parties returning signed NDAs and eighteen offers being  submitted. A successful sale was concluded in February 2024.
