We are pleased to offer for sale the assets of an Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plant generating electricity for grid export located in Hereford, Herefordshire.

The salient details are as follows:

  • Commissioned in February 2023, with an original installation cost of approximately £3.1 million.
  • The facility has a designed output of 330kWe (original designed capacity 400kWe). Plant capable of processing up to 15,000 tonnes of feedstock, including maize, chicken litter & slurry.
  • The plant includes a 26m x 7m volume 3,717 m³ Digester (2 central (Steverding 15kw) and 2 (Eisele) submersible mixers), bespoke 330kw containerised CHP (MAN Engine block), flare, separator, mixer, pump system, transformer, lagoon and macerator.
  • The available Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs) accreditations.
  • Plant located on a site extending to 0.2 hectares (no existing lease).
