3F Pellets, prior to ceasing to trade, manufactured and supplied wood-based cat litter, horse bedding and biomass heating pellets to various UK based customers. The Company had also installed a biomass fed CHP steam boiler plant into the facility although this has not been commissioned.

• Waste wood treatment plant includes a hammer mill, rotary dryer, diesel generator, 6 head pellet mill, bagging plant, dust removal system, feed and storage silos
• CHP plant (still to be commissioned) comprises a 50 MWth biomass steam raising boiler and 2 Siemens steam turbines (3.697 MWe & 3.362 MWe) and 3 phase Indar generators
• Power Plant potentially benefits from Renewable Heat Incentives (RHI) and Renewables Obligation Certificates (ROCs) (no  local electricity grid connection)
• The premises, extending to 29,300 sq ft, are held on a lease expiring in August 2036 at a current rent of £100,000 per annum
