We are pleased to offer for sale a well-established anaerobic digestion (AD) facility located in Shropshire. The plant has been developed to generate renewable energy through the anaerobic digestion of agricultural feedstocks and presents an excellent opportunity for investors, operators, or strategic purchasers seeking to acquire an operational renewable energy asset with future growth potential.

The principal features of the facility include:

  • A 500kWe electricity to grid anaerobic digestion plant designed to process agricultural feedstocks, including 9,000 tonnes of manure and 4,000 tonnes of energy crops.
  • Plant comprising primary digester tank, slurry tank, feedstock reception and handling infrastructure, and combined heat and power (CHP) plant.
  • Existing grid connection infrastructure and on-site electrical equipment to facilitate electricity export.
  • Renewable energy accreditations and any associated incentive registrations including Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).
