Hilco is delighted to offer for sale the intellectual property assets of The Naked Collective (“TNC” or “the Company”), a beverage company established to disrupt the functional drinks and non-alcoholic beer FMCG industry with a range of health-centric drinks targeted at health and wellness-focused customers across all demographics.


The Naked Collective was founded in 2019 and launched in 2021 and offers two major brands – Mude Functional Drinks and SoBeer a non-alcoholic lager. The product offering has been carefully developed for an increasingly health-conscious consumer market, with all the Company’s drinks having the following characteristics:

  • Products made of water + 4-5 simple ingredients
  • Vegan, non-GMO, plant-based and caffeine-free
  • No artificial sweeteners, preservatives or stabilisers
  • All products are plastic free with 100% recyclable aluminium cans
  • All packaging fully recyclable or compostable
  • Certified carbon neutral

Mude is a natural and functional beverage range with drinks containing ingredients both to “energise” and “relax”. Four separate drinks are offered in the range, including “work”, “play”, “chill” and “sleep”. All Mude products provide immunity-boosting benefits as they contain naturally occurring selenium (30% RDA), B12 (20% RDA), Zinc (15% RDA) and Folate (8% RDA). Mude is also sold in powder form for e-commerce and the health and wellness marketplace.

SoBeer is a low-calorie non-alcoholic lager developed with the aim of having health benefits providing 25% RDI Selenium and Vitamin B12, and 10% RDI Zinc. SoBeer is available as both an American Light Lager and a Grapefruit Lager.

Since its launch, TNC has enjoyed considerable success with its products being sold in US, Canadian, UK, Dutch and Irish markets through some of the world’s best-known retailers, including Tesco, Spar, WH Smith, Walmart, Target, Meijer and Publix.

The Company has won various awards, including World Food Innovation in both 2021 and 2022, Men’s Fitness Best Healthy Drink 2021 and The European Awards Health and Wellness category.

Substantial investment has been made in TNC and its products to date however the Company, as a standalone, has been unable to secure sufficient finance to scale the business, particularly in the US market, as was originally envisaged. With a lack of working capital holding back sales growth, the Directors have taken the decision to offer the Company’s intellectual property rights for sale.


This sale provides a prospective buyer with the chance to acquire the intellectual property assets of an established beverage range with unique characteristics that is well positioned against other beverages in the marketplace.

The Company holds US and EU-registered trade marks protecting the “Mude” and “SoBeer” brand names and logo across various relevant classes.

Domain Names

The Company holds a portfolio of domain names relating to the brands and business.

The Company owns the copyright in the content of the elegantly-designed e-commerce website, which is directly linked to revenues.

Customer Data

The Company has a vast customer database spanning Europe, the USA and Canada.

Vendor Data

The Company holds a database of its c. 680 key vendors across the USA, Canada and Europe, with whom it has established strong relationships.

Social Media Accounts

The Company has a robust social media following, with c. 22.7k cumulative followers across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

Proprietary Recipes

The recipes relating to the Company’s products.  Mude is differentiated from other beverages on the market, created to be caffeine-free, preservative & stabiliser free, certified non-GMO, plant-based, artificial sweetener & stevia-free, certified carbon neutral and gluten-free.

In addition to its non-alcoholic American Light Lager & non-alcoholic Grapefruit Lager the Company has developed “SoBeer Unwind”, which gives a “first beer buzz” without the alcohol.

Sale Process

All expressions of interest and bids are to be directed to Hilco in writing. Please contact Hilco to gain access to a virtual data room of further information on signing a confidentiality agreement.  A Bid Submission Form is available in the data room or on request.

Key Terms & Conditions

The bidder acknowledges that Hilco acts as an agents for the Company and offer for sale only what right, title and interest the Company possesses in the assets. Such sale will be without any warranties, expressed or implied. The information provided has not been verified by Hilco and bidders are deemed to have carried out their own due diligence.

VAT, if applicable, at 20% will be added to the price. A non-refundable deposit of 20% will be payable by the buyer within 48 hours of bid acceptance. Legal completion to occur within 5 business days of bid acceptance. Hilco’s full Terms and Conditions apply.
