Pride Month gives us space to celebrate how far we’ve come, but also to think honestly about what more we can do. For me, Pride isn’t about rainbow logos or one-off campaigns, it’s about creating a workplace where people genuinely feel they belong, every day of the year. Pride gives us a platform to celebrate that progress, but also to shine a light on the realities and challenges that those outside the LGBTQ+ community might not always see. It’s a chance to raise awareness, spark conversation, and keep pushing for inclusion in ways that really matter.
What does that look like in practice? It’s in the small things, such as being able to talk about your partner without hesitation. Knowing that no one will second-guess your contributions because of who you are. Feeling confident that what counts is your work, your ideas, and your integrity, not the labels others might try to put on you.
I’m proud to work at a firm where inclusion is something we build together. A place where we can challenge assumptions, support one another, and recognise that difference strengthens us. Pride is about visibility, but also about action. For me, working with Pride means doing my bit to help make the workplace one where everyone can show up as themselves and do their best work. And that’s a responsibility we all share, this month and every month.
