Our New Associate Director,
Joanna Thompson

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Joanna Thompson as our new Associate Director of Machinery & Business Assets, based in our Leeds office.

Before joining Hilco, Joanna was working for an international company as an asset valuer, which involved a lot of international travel. This led her to value assets from airline ground support equipment in Costa Rica, through to confectionery factory machinery in China.

Joanna has carried out and overseen plant and machinery valuations throughout the world on behalf of asset-based lenders, accountants, banks, corporate clients, insurance brokers, lawyers, and solicitors. Working across Europe, USA, South Africa and Asia.

Having made the exciting and bold decision to emigrate from Poland, Joanna encountered many obstacles travelling the world in previous jobs due to pre-existing prejudices, and overcoming these has been a huge accomplishment within her career progression. Joanna has successfully completed her ASA Qualification and is already making a huge impact at Hilco. We are thrilled to have Joanna on-board to utilise her experience and knowledge within the industry.
